You may remember last month we published an article 'A Word Of Caution To All Pet Parents.' There's been an outbreak in dog related illnesses and deaths from jerky treats. To date, the FDA has received over 3,200 reports. The death count is now over 600 and counting. This is scary stuff.
As of October 23rd of this year, these are the treats being recalled. Do not purchase or give your dogs the above listed treats. If your dog becomes ill after eating jerky (or other) treats, please contact your vet immediately. Symptoms can include, but are not limited to, vomiting, decreased appetite, diarrhea, lethargy, increased water consumption and increased urination.
