We posted a link on the K9 1-On-1 Facebook wall yesterday and another today. This is serious stuff. Nearly 600 dogs have died and another 3,000 have become ill from eating jerky treats made in China.
As quoted by Fox News, "Symptoms observed within hours of eating the treats include decreased appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, decreased activity, increased water consumption and increased urination. Severe cases have involved kidney failure and gastrointestinal bleeding."
For all you pet parents, we know how much your furbaby means to you so please take extra precaution when buying treats...or better yet, make your own!
