The other day we came across something cool that caught our attention and it's rather interesting.  Did you know that dogs have been domesticated for over 30,000 years yet they still gravitate towards primal instincts like howling at the moon and territory marking?  Or that, despite misconceptions, dog actually see in color?

Shopping around for a dog bed can be quite overwhelming. There are hundreds of styles available from your basic run of the mill to luxury dog beds that will put your own bed to shame.

We all want to spoil our pooch, but some of these beds are ridiculously priced.  For a general purpose bed that resembles a large plush pillow, you could fork out anywhere from $20 to $40. 

More and more dog owners are embracing the idea of DIY dog beds and, I must say, the ones we've seen are worlds better than the one in stores.  Best of all, these DIY dog beds can be made for a tiny fraction of the cost as the ones seen in stores.
