We know. We're only into the first week of October and when the "C" or "H" words are mentioned, people tend to shudder.  Christmas. Holiday. It's early, however, there is evidence people are already stocking up for the season. White chocolate chips have disappeared from the shelves. Holiday treat bags are picked over at retailer locations that have put them out early. Plain white mugs are hard to find. Etc.

With that being said, we thought it was the perfect time to bring up gift ideas for dogs. We have a lot of friends who are pet parents and we're not the type to forget their furbaby during the Holiday season. Shopping around for a dog bed can be quite overwhelming. There are hundreds of styles available from your basic run of the mill to luxury dog beds that will put your own bed to shame.

We all want to spoil our pooch, but some of these beds are ridiculously priced.  For a general purpose bed that resembles a large plush pillow, you could fork out anywhere from $20 to $40.
