There are hundreds of memes posted of all things pets from downright hysterical to ones that tug at the heartstrings. We post a lot of them on our K9 1-ON-1 Facebook page. The newest trend appears to be dog shaming. Don't be fooled...there is no shame. These "confessions" are good for a few laughs and amplifies the proof that dogs have their own unique personalities. Like 2 legged kids, dogs can get into mischief and have their feisty moments.
Of all the memes out there, this one is a favorite. Day in and day out we come across stories that tear at our emotions. We read articles of miraculous rescues, abandonment, animal abuse and so much more. Like you, we skim through for the happy ending. Sadly, with some, there isn't.
Our first reaction is the desire to save them all. Unfortunately, that's not humanely possible. This quote is one of a few that motivates us. It inspires us to keep going and restores our faith that with every effort, every rescue and every bit of kindness, we're making a difference. All of us.
